I know how I felt when I heard “You Lie!” I felt it was extremely disrespectful and I wondered if it would have happened to Bush, Clinton, etc.

So you’ve watched every media outlet. NO immediately afterwards, it was not mention. some outlets even criticized the media for not doing their research. The “race card” term is bull. To even mention that term means you don’t even consider the possibility that at times race could play a factor in situations. I also disagree that race is always used BUT recognize…it does occur.

Bush got shoes thrown at him in a foreign country and everyone was outraged. Obama is speaking to elected officials in the UNITED STATES and is disrespected in a similar fashion and no one seems to care. Sorry. I ain’t buying it.

Using the term “reverse racism” suggests that you recognize that racism is generally in one direction but in some way has “reversed” itself. Another dumb term…..

now 35 posts! Part of the issue is Joe’s background in South Carolina fighting to keep the confederate flag and everything it stood for flying high at the SC state capitol.

Now I understand this does not mean a lot to most people, however let someone come to my hometown of Philly or anywhere in the Northeast, NYC, CT, Delaware, Baltimore and D.C. flying that flag and someone will kick their a$$ets.

With that said, I am not suprised that the person who disrepected the President during his address happened to be a son of South Carolina as they liked to call themselves at least when I lived there.
